- I love human resources. Is that strange? I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I used to work in operations, actually managing teams of employees united for a common goal, blah, blah, blah. I fell into this gig and I am lovin' it.
- I enjoy talking to fellow practitioners. They have the best stories, and generally handle workplace adversity with humor and style.
- I do not mix well with "suits," our fellows who speak in business-tongue and get all antsy-in-their-pantsy (That's a "Super Troopers" reference, if you are an aficianado) about small meaningless details. Let's stress the important stuff, like adequate compensation, affordable benefits and finding and retaining great employees.
- My dream is a world where we work to strengthen employee-employer relationships, separate the wheat from the chaff, streamline practices, and discuss it all using snarky references and improper business communication.
